How does DetoxDenim differ from regular denim?
The biggest difference lies in the manufacturing process.
Conventional denim is often treated with aggressive chemicals and water-intensive processes to achieve certain washes or effects.
With DetoxDenim, we deliberately avoid such methods and instead use gentler technologies and more sustainable materials.
The result: the same look, but with significantly less environmental impact.
Which chemicals are avoided?
With DetoxDenim, we avoid, among others:
- Chlorine bleach
- hazardous heavy metals
- other problematic chemicals frequently used in finishing
Our goal is to reduce harmful substances throughout the entire production chain as much as possible.
Which technologies are used?
For the finishing of our DetoxDenim, we use more modern, environmentally friendly processes such as:
- Ozone treatments that reduce water consumption
- Laser technology, which replaces chemical washes
- GOTS-certified softeners for better stretch, comfort & durability
These technologies enable the typical denim effects—without many of the burdensome processes of conventional production.
