Speaking of transparency: how often do you visit your suppliers?

Our teams from Design, Buying, Technical Development, and Impact & Innovation visit our suppliers on an ongoing basis. Martin, our CEO, is also regularly involved so he can get to know suppliers personally and strengthen those partnerships.

When we’re on site, we don’t spend our time in showrooms — we’re in the actual production facilities: sewing units, laundries, weaving mills, embroidery units and more.

We’ve also visited our cotton growing projects in India, and some of our colleagues have even been able to help with the harvest.

We always announce our visits and coordinate the dates with our producers. Our suppliers are our partners, and that’s how we treat them. Above all, that means building a business relationship based on trust, not control.
